Uniform

Our school dress and presentation requirements promote a positive image of our school and create a sense of identity among students; promoting safety of students through easy identification; keeping costs of clothing within reasonable limits for parents; and assisting students to learn the importance of appropriate presentation.

Dress Code

  • School Polo Shirt – maroon with school logo
  • Black shorts
  • Black skort
  • Black long pants or black tracksuit pants
  • Maroon and white check dress
  • Maroon fleece jacket with school logo
  • Reversible school hat (green/gold/red/royal) no other hats are acceptable
  • Faction polo shirts with school logo (green/gold/red/royal)

If students do not purchase a uniform jumper/shirt, the uniform code requires that non-uniform jumpers/shirts be maroon without prints or logos.

Hats

We want our students to be sun smart. In Term One and Term Four we have a strict ‘No hat No play” policy. Students are required to wear the school hat.

Year 6 Graduation Shirt

Year 6 students can wear their graduation shirts on all occasions other than any event identified by the Principal.

Jewellery/Body Adornments

Excessive jewellery is not to be worn at school this includes dangling earrings, necklaces or any item of that nature.

Earrings are restricted to studs and sleepers.

Hair and Make Up

Hair below the shoulders must be tied up neatly, make up is not to be worn at any time.

The following do not meet our required dress standard and should not be worn to school:
  • any item of denim clothing
  • clothing with large logo’s or prints
  • board shorts
  • thongs, slip-ons or ugg boots

Students who do not comply with the dress code may not be eligible to represent the school during excursions or sporting events. They may also not be eligible to represent the school as a Student Councillor or Faction Captain.

Name Tags

All articles of clothing should be clearly named.

Lost Property

A lost property box is located on the verandah between the School Office and Room 1.

Uniform Concepts

Cowaramup Primary School Uniforms are supplied by Uniform Concepts, Nell Gray.

The Uniform Concepts Super Store is located at 33 Bussell Hwy, Busselton.

Order forms are available at the front office or by downloading one here.

All new students are encouraged to make an appointment with the uniform shop for a fitting during Term 4, thus avoiding the long queues in January.

Parents can take advantage of a $20.00 Layby service, please discuss with the store.
